WOW…I loved this….what an inspiration…so honest and so real…I needed this badly and I thank GOD for you Nicki….You made me laugh, think and blessed me in a very special way. What a way to start my day!!!
May the Lord Bless you as you have blessed me!!!
Jeremiah 32:27
That was well said and I think all women need to hear that more than once. I myself have major issues with what I look like and what I feel like. It is a big struggle no thanks to the media portraying young, skinny, blemish free models who themselves have trouble with how they look. Thank you for spending time with us this way and helping us to take a closer look at our imperfectness. God Bless!
Thank you so much for this Nikki! I cried as I sat and watched this video. I have been struggling so much with comparing myself with other women. I want to look in the mirror and see myself… Not look in the mirror and always see what I need to become. It is amazing to know that God loves me for who I am, not for who I think I “should” be.
This is really good stuff Nicki. It encouraged me to look in the mirror, look into my thoughts and be honest with God and myself about what I see and who I want to be – the Renee God made or someone else I think others want/need/expect me to be. He’s teaching me so much about breaking the yoke of perfection these days. Thanks for being HIS voice to my heart today!
Great job Nicki! This really spoke to me as I reflected about my melt down yesterday…all we ever have to be is what He made me. And that you are doing! Keep doing it! Love mom
Ann, I couldn’t agree more! The media for sure does throw all kinds of false images at us. And it’s hard to stare at those images day after day and not find the imperfections in ourselves. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Sweet Jackie, thank you for sharing your honest heart today. It is hard to not look at ourselves and see the woman that we wish we could be. But I once heard someone say to stop wishing away life and to live it. And I think that’s exactly what God wants us to do…even with our imperfections!
Thank you, Nicki, sharing this message today. This week the song, “My Beloved” by Kari Jobe, has been on my heart. How HE wants us to know that HE loves and accepts us just the way we are. We are beautiful always to HIM!
Thanks Nicki, I just happened on this sight through a friend. What you said is so true. As I look in the mirror I see someone whose youth is gone and it’s hard to see that. I will try to remember to be real and look past the wrinkles to the person who is inside. That’s who Jesus sees……..
As a college student facing the pressure to be the “girl next door” and not Maggie, I couldn’t have found this Vlog at a better time. I need to focus on pleasing the Lord, not those who want me to be something different than who God created. Thank you for the inspiration to be myself!!
Coneen, thanks for stopping by today and letting us hear from you! I have never heard that song before but I’m headed over to youtube right now to listen to it!
Kris, I’m so thankful that God always leads us to the place where He needs to speak to us! Thanks for sharing your heart today!!
Shirley, I’m so glad that the Lord brought you to this site today. I pray that when you look in the mirror you see the reflection of God and I’m sure He shines through you! Thanks for sharing your heart!
Maggie, welcome to She Seeks! We are so glad you stopped by and I’m so thankful that this was a timely vlog for you. I know it’s hard girl but that authenticity thing is a huge battle to overcome but it is possible! I hope you’ll be by again. Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us today!
WOW! This is what every single women/teenager needs to hear. I wish I could have heard this when I was in my teens. The “impress everyone stage”. Thanks so much. You are gorgeous!
We would love for you to know a little more about us. Check out the She Seeks Team page to learn some very interesting facts about those behind the scenes here.

I am definitely a broken-down Jesus girl. Love that and so encouraged by these truths today!
