She Seeks Speak Up Challenge

checking in vlog

  1. Watch the video above
  2. Take this link and share it with others: https://www.compassion.com/contribution/giving/disasterrelief.htm?referer=106103
  3. Come back here and leave one comment for every thing you do to spread the word about what Compassion is doing in Haiti (tweet it, share it on Facebook, send out an email, blog about it, etc…)
  4. Every comment (up to 100) will result in $1 being given to Compassions Disaster Relief Fund. Every comment over 100 will result in 25¢ being given to that same fund. After Shannon made this video pledging $1 for every comment up to 100, we’ve had additional pledges. An annoymous donor and Proverbs 31 each will match Shannon’s donation. That’s $1 for every comment up to 300! After that, it will be 25¢ a comment. Awesome!

What are you waiting for? Convert your comments into cash! SPEAK UP for those who can’t speak for themselves.

Thanks Shannon for making a huge impact and challenging all of us to respond to the call of millions in Haiti that have no voice.

God see, God hears, God knows, and God responds.

Thanks so much for doing this, Shannon! I’m an example of someone who doesn’t have the money right now but really wants to do something! I brought it up in conversation with a group of friends. I’m in the middle of trying to organize a cookie sale to raise money for Haiti relief. Please pray for me. God bless you! :)

I just donated $100 to Compassion International. Even though we didn’t have 100 comments, several of you listed multiple things in one comment. Thanks for participating and speaking up for those in need!

Noelle February 11, 2010 at 9:04 pm

I just posted it on my Facebook. As a former short-term missionary, I have friends in Haiti, so thank you!

LeAnn February 12, 2010 at 10:51 am

Hi Shannon! Proverbs 31 Ministries will go ahead and make our donation as well. Thanks so much for speaking up for those who can’t!

Shannon Primicerio February 12, 2010 at 11:09 pm

Thanks, LeAnn. That’s awesome. Our anonymous donor just emailed me and she donated $100 too. So $300 has been given in honor of those who participated. Thanks everyone for helping speak up for those in need!
