Express Yourself

what makes you tick?

We would be thrilled at the chance to get to know YOU and what makes you tick! This is the place where you can do just that. You will notice at the bottom of each {inspirational entry} there is a short, interesting description of the writer — we call it the “tagline.” Here is the place to put your tagline! Give us a 10-20 word description of who you are, what you love, what you don’t love or anything that tells us about you. Make it fun and interesting or make it deep and thoughtful — that is up to you. Also, you can include your name — or not — you decide.

Example: {your name — or not} is a sucker for reality t.v., loves rocky road ice cream, and is just trying to figure out life.

I love my two precious doggies and experiencing new adventures with friends. I am learning again and again that God’s plan is much better than anything I can dream up on my own!

Andrea September 18, 2009 at 9:57 pm

I love the Lord and I love to look for what He has to show me through the daily happenings of life. He is always teaching me so much, and I am humbled by His grace and His gentle care for me and my family. I have five children and I am crazy about them. I love to write and encourage women in their faith, especially through the struggle of life. “Out of our misery comes our ministry” is something I could wear on a T-shirt. It is my theme — His theme in my life!

Larie September 18, 2009 at 10:15 pm

Larie, a mommy, learning that she will always be considered a new mom despite her having three children ’cause they’re all different, therefore, each will receive different legacies!

Samantha September 19, 2009 at 11:05 pm

Samantha, a student, not very self-disciplined, a sister, a girlfriend, a daughter. My life is always put into perspective when I seek the Lord, I remember my passions, and I remember how much He loves me. I forget to seek Him every day and that doesn’t help when I’m trying to steer clear of the thing which are acceptable today.

I will actually get to sleep through the night, and maybe, just maybe, sleep past 6:30am!!!! One day, two nights with my hubby with no screaming, tempertantrums or coloring on walls (in which punishment results in the previous) Sadly, there will be no little hugs or kisses either, but I guess you can’t have it all. =o)

Eileen November 12, 2009 at 12:08 pm

Well, I am a fun, out going kind of girl..I love to hang with my friends & family….God,school and work are my main Priorities right now…I am a single girl so I try to keep myself busy so I won’t have to think about it….Over all I Love Life, I Live for God and God alone…I have my struggles here and there but I think that through “She Seeks” I will find other women my age(26 to be exact) that can relate with me…Right now at this moment I am struggling with being Single and simply enjoying my singlehood, most of my friends are married, engaged or in a relationship and I’m Not..and for me that is SO HARD…What advice would you girls give?

Annie November 12, 2009 at 4:26 pm

Eileen-
It is hard to be single! I always hear that being single is a gift, but it sure doesn’t feel like it sometimes. It seems that another friend of mine is getting engaged every other week. While I really want to be happy for them, it makes me a little sad that it’s not me. I started making a list of why I’m thankful for where God has me right now… Little things, like I’m thankful that the only things I have to do in the morning is spend time with God and get myself ready for the day. What a blessing it is to have that time that would be a lot harder if I was married with kids. I keep the list posted in my bedroom. It also helps me to remember how faithful God has been in other areas of my life–He hasn’t changes and won’t forget about me now! And He knows how to give good gifts, better than we could even dream.

In Him, Annie
